    Description

    The lecture course “Vaccines” is designed to inform students in the health-related professions and sciences about the bacterial and viral diseases that are preventable by vaccination.

    Course Objectives

    The objectives of this course are to able to know which vaccines are available to prevent bacterial and viral infections, what are the disease symptoms, what public health measures can be instituted for the diseases, the public health impact and costs of diseases that can be prevented, how vaccines are made, side effects of vaccines, and cost/benefits of vaccination.

    This course should be taken by all who are interested in improving health care outcomes, saving lives, and reducing healthcare costs by vaccination.
